It turns out that Yoga may help stroke survivors become more active and improve their balance.
According to an article in Harvard Medical Publications and published in the online Journal, “Stroke,” new research indicates that Yoga may help stroke victims with recovery.
Here are Some of the Benefits of Yoga For Stroke Victims:

* improve rehabilitation
* help improve the quality of life
* reduce the fear of falling
* help with independence when doing daily activities
Yoga is a combination of poses, breathing, and meditation.
Some important factors in helping prevent another stroke attack are:
* Do not smoke.
* Control blood pressure.
* Control cholestrol levels.
* Eat a healthy diet.
* Take the correct medications for stroke reoccurrence.
* Exercise (monitored by a physician)
Aerobic exercise may improve cognition and attention span in those suffering from traumatic brain injury, stroke and multiple sclerosis.
